Welcome to the beating heart of Basecamp Amsterdam.
The Lobby is a bar and reception in one. The place for warm welcomes. From early coffee with banana bread to cocktails and pizza in the evening, there’s always room for you at The Lobby. Stop by in the morning for a full farmhouse buffet breakfast. Plop down on a lounge chair by the fireplace, play the piano or enjoy the sunny patio.
Don’t want to leave your cabin? Call our lobby to order a take away pizza and pick it up within 10 min from the bar, to enjoy it in the comfort of your own tiny house.

Good morning breakfast
Start your morning with a tasty full farmhouse buffet breakfast at The Lobby. We proudly serve Pain de Mer bread, made with seawater, which you can also pick up at The Lobby to take to your Tiny House. When you book your Tiny House stay, you can easily add breakfast for the entire duration at just €17 per person per night.

The games room is open to all our guests as a space to come together. Play table tennis, one of our many board games, or Mario Kart on Nintendo; this versatile space has everything you need.

FROM OUR GARDEN TO YOUR TABLE
Vegetable garden
The greenest and most serene spot is the vegetable garden. Groenhartig and Kwekerij Wiering grow seasonal vegetables and delivers the produce to nearby restaurants, cafés, and consumers. The aim is to work with the area’s ecosystem by providing fertile soil and shelter for insects. In this way, we support the health of the land while growing beautiful produce for our guests.

Bring your furry friend
Dogs are welcome at Basecamp Amsterdam, with most cottages allowing one dog for a €25 fee. Dogs are also accepted in The Lobby. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times and do not leave them alone in your Tiny House, as not everyone is fond of dogs.
TIME TO PLAY
Natural playground
Even the youngest adventurers can let off steam at the resort. Directly behind the restaurant, next to the vegetable garden, is a small playground made of natural materials with a trampoline and two swings.
STAY FRESH
Laundry service
Basecamp Amsterdam offers a laundry service at €9.50 per wash. Ask the front desk for details of the options.
FROM FARM TO YOUR TABLE
Pick our own grown vegetables and herbs
Basecamp’s Green Team manager, Inge, and her team are busy every day in the Greenhouse and the garden growing the most beautiful herbs and vegetables. During the harvest periods, guests are welcome to come and pick for a voluntary donation!
You will find more information about this in the Greenhouse, where flags indicate which vegetables and herbs are ready to be picked.
ULTIMATE RELAXATION
Bring your dog on holiday by the sea
Does your dog have separation anxiety or can you simply not live without your buddy? Dogs are welcome here. In many of the Tiny Houses you are allowed to bring a maximum of one dog. In our booking system, simply click the option “Dog”, and find the right accommodation. Dog fees are automatically calculated. On arrival, our receptionists will explain more about the rules in the resort, in nature and on the beach.

Jump for the sky
Even the youngest adventurers can have endless fun at Basecamp Ijmuiden. Right next to the bar is a large trampoline, several swings and a spacious playground.
