Please note that some Tiny Houses are located in The Village,700 metres away from the Lobby. If you have a preferred location, you are very welcome to share it with us; while we cannot always guarantee it, we will of course do our best to take your preference into account.

The Village is located around 700 metres from the main camp. It is close enough to reach easily, while offering a little more privacy and a peaceful setting in the polder landscape. 

Yes, you can rent a bike at Basecamp Amsterdam. Bikes are available for €14.50 per day, and we also offer two children’s bikes and four child seats. Simply get in touch or stop by the front desk to arrange your rental.

We do not serve a full dinner menu at Basecamp Amsterdam, but The Lobby offers an all-day menu with toasties, pizza, soups and bites.

The Lobby is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, with the kitchen closing at 7 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 8 am to 9 pm, with the kitchen closing at 8 pm.

If you prefer a cosy evening in, you can also take a pizza back to your cabin.

Breakfast is served daily at Basecamp Amsterdam in The Lobby from 8 to 11 in the morning.

Start your day with a tasty full farmhouse buffet breakfast. When booking your stay, you can easily add breakfast for the full duration at €17 per person per night.

Yes, you need a reservation for the sauna, as reception needs to switch it on for you. At Basecamp Amsterdam, you can use the barrel sauna by the lake or, in The Village, the Iglucraft sauna.

Heating up takes about 30 minutes, so we recommend booking in advance. The sauna can be reserved between 9 am and 9 pm, and it costs €12.50 per person for one hour.

Your hot tub is ready and warm when you check in and will stay warm and available throughout your entire stay. So, whenever you feel like relaxing, just hop in and enjoy!

Yes, you can also use the barrel sauna if you are not staying at Basecamp Amsterdam.

Please contact reception in advance to make a reservation, as they need to switch it on for you. Heating up takes about 30 minutes, and the sauna can be booked between 9 am and 9 pm for €12.50 per person for one hour.

Did you book with the Fully Flex rate? You can modify your booking free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. With a non-refundable booking, you cannot cancel your reservation and receive a refund.

Another option is to ask someone in your circle to take over your booking if you are unable to fulfil it. For assistance, please contact the reception.

We advise you to ensure you have adequate travel insurance.

Only bookings made with a flexible rate can be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours before arrival. For a reservation made more than 45 days in advance, a 7-day cancellation period applies.

Check-in at Basecamp Amsterdam starts from 3 pm. If you arrive earlier, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us and start enjoying the surroundings straight away.

Would you like to make the most of your stay and settle into your Tiny House a little earlier? Early check-in from 2 pm is available for an extra €25, subject to availability.

Check-out at Basecamp Amsterdam is until 11 am. If you would like to enjoy a slower morning, you can add a late check-out until 12 noon for an extra €25, subject to availability.

After checking out, you are still very welcome to spend some time in The Lobby for a coffee, a bite to eat, or a relaxed moment before continuing your journey.

All Tiny Houses are equipped with bed linen and one small and one large bath towel per guest.  We also provide kitchen towels and cloths.

We do offer a baby bed for €15 per stay. Please let us know before your arrival so we can have it ready for you.

No. If your booking includes the sofa bed as a sleeping space, we’ll make it up for you before you arrive, so it’s ready to use when you check in.

If you’re staying with fewer guests but would still like to use the sofa bed, just let us know before your arrival and we’ll prepare it for you.

The final cleaning is included in your stay. If you need anything in the meantime, contact our team during your stay.

Staying longer and need extra cleaning or fresh towels? Don’t hesitate to contact our reception. If you are staying for a longer period, we will clean the house once a week.

At Basecamp Amsterdam, many of our Tiny Houses come with a kitchen, but not all of them do.

Some Boardwalks and Hide Outs do not have kitchen facilities, and The Wellness Barn also does not include a kitchen.

If having a kitchen is important for your stay, please contact reception in advance or mention it when making your reservation. We will do our best to take your preference into account

There are several places near Basecamp Amsterdam where you can shop for groceries.

For fresh local produce, Fruittuin van West is nearby and great for fruit and vegetables.

If you are looking for a supermarket, the nearest option is Lidl at Aalbersestraat 273, within easy reach by bike or car. For current opening hours and the easiest route, we recommend checking Google Maps.

In the morning, you can also buy fresh bread and croissants at Basecamp Amsterdam.

Some Tiny Houses have dishwashers. Check each Tiny House’s description to see if it has one. 

No, none of our Tiny Houses at Basecamp has a TV.

With the city just around the corner and the resort’s peaceful green surroundings, there is plenty to enjoy without one.
