What is included in the price per person?
Basecamp makes sure that everything is taken care of, so that you can fully focus on your meeting, brainstorm or retreat. Most rooms are offered according to a price per person, which means that all items below are included.
- Unlimited coffee, organic tea, water, and sparkling water in the meeting space
- Fresh fruit, selection of nuts and sweets
- Fast Wi-Fi and a flat-screen or projector with HDMI
- A box with post-its, writing materials and a flipchart/whiteboard

The REFTER
Starting at 19,- p/person for half a day.
The large red barn, known as The Refter, is our most versatile space for events like product launches, conferences, training, parties, and New Year’s drinks. We once played dodgeball there to boost creativity. Artist Joep van Lieshout designed the outdoor area, while our Basecamp team decorated the interior. Large sliding doors connect to the terrace outside. Inside, there’s a handmade balustrade, recycled wood bar, swings, and hanging plants. The 225m2 area can be arranged in various layouts, from theatre to reception to cabaret.

BOB
Starting at 49,- p/person for half a day.
The cosy living-room feel of the BOB will quickly make you feel at home. The creaking floor and the sea breeze whisper stories from times gone by, creating a pleasant atmosphere that sparks creativity and connection. With the rhythmic sound of the waves, this space offers an unforgettable meeting experience.

The Greenhouse
Have lunch, dinner or meetings among the forgotten vegetables and special crops that we grow ourselves. The Greenhouse offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and provides an intimate setting. It is a spacious greenhouse consisting of three parts. Two of these are used exclusively for crop growth. The third part is a room with a large table, a seating area, and a wood stove. An excellent addition to a special and sustainable event.
Overnight stay by the sea
Make it an extra special session and let your guests stay overnight in one of the unique Tiny Houses. Various houses are available for 2 to 6 people, some with a view of the dunes or a roof terrace with a sea view. In total, Basecamp IJmuiden has sleeping space for 113 guests, and for 65 guests if you want to offer each their own bed.
Terrace with Tiny Bar
The Refter is connected to a wide terrace with large sliding doors, filled with creations made from natural materials. Next to the greenhouse, surrounded by vegetables, herbs and other crops, is the cosy Tiny Bar with a roof terrace and a view of the sea. There is room for food trucks, and there are various seats made of recycled materials, hammocks, a large fire bowl and a long marble table. In short, endless possibilities and flexible enough to suit every event!

The bus stops less than 500 metres from the site. From Amsterdam Sloterdijk, bus line 382 goes directly to IJmuiden aan Zee.
