If you disembark in Cagliari (115 km)
Take the freeway to Iglesias. Pass the fork for Siliqua, then after 6 km, turn left towards Villamassargia, Carbonia, and Sant’Antioco.
If you go through Iglesias, take the longer route for 8 km, passing the impressive Monteponi mines.
When you reach the entrance to Sant’Antioco, immediately after the bridge, turn left at the first crossroads. F
ollow the signs for “Tonnara Camping” for 12 km, and you’ll find us in Cala Sapone on the south-west coast.
In Villamassargia, coming from Cagliari, you’ll find the first petrol station for fuel.
If you disembark in Olbia (320 km)
Take the road to S. Teodoro and then the motorway to Nuoro.
Continue straight and take the freeway N. 131 (Sassari-Oristano-Cagliari). Drive through Oristano, and after 50 km, pass Sanluri.
After about 3 km, you’ll reach the fork for Samassi. Turn right for Samassi, then pass through Vallermosa. Take the road on the right towards Dosmusnovas. After 7 km, turn left onto SS 131 and cross it to reach Villamassargia. From there, continue to Carbonia and then Sant’Antioco.
During the drive, at the crossroads between the “Nuorese Road” and SS 131, make sure to stop at Losa to visit the Nuraghe and at Santa Cristina to see the “Pozzo Sacro.”
These spots offer shade, refreshment, and a glimpse into Sardinia’s ancient history.
If you disembark in Porto Torres (281 km)
Take freeway N. 131 towards Sassari-Oristano-Cagliari and follow the previous directions.
