THE INTERNSHIP

You will be part of a team of marketing experts with all their part of expertise. In this team, you work directly with the marketing manager and will help to execute the marketing strategy. Basecamp Eco-resorts has three internal marketing clients: 1. Leisure (holiday home rental at all our resorts worldwide) 2. Meetings & events (every location offers meeting rooms and event spaces) 3. The sales department (Selling holiday homes to enthusiastic).

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing the social media channels. (Posting, reposting, writing copy for posts and making reels etc.)
• Analyse the insights at the Basecamp socials and adjust strategy.
• Responsible for Web care: answering messages via socials
• Handling requests from influencers
• Supporting the organisation of marketing-related events like Fairs, Open days at resorts, and Owners’ days (events for the owners of holiday homes)
• Other assisting tasks of the Marketing manager for campaigns or projects

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

An ambitious individual with a passion for marketing. You have excellent writing skills in Dutch & English. You are enthusiastic, driven, and don’t have a 9-5 mentality. You have an affinity with social media. You have a hospitality mindset and love to communicate with guests and clients.  Project management is something that comes naturally to you. You work in a structured way and keep focussed during busy moments. It is easy for you to be flexible when big deadlines are coming up. When problems appear you always think in possibilities.
