The Village Hideaway is a compact villa with private hot tub, located just 700 meters from Basecamp Amsterdam, floating above the landscape in the wild polder landscape. There are only seven lodges that are far apart, so don't be afraid of crowds. Stay in the middle of nature, relax and enjoy the peace. All guests of The Village can use the facilities of the Basecamp Amsterdam resort at any time.

The kitchen has an induction hob and everything you need. You sleep on a wonderful Coco-Mat bed with Yumeko duvets and pillows, merino wool plaids. You never want to get out of bed! The bathroom has a rain shower and is equipped with wonderful spa products. The room has super-fast WiFi.

Hot tub
This version of The Village lodge is extra special because of the hot tub! Don't worry, we will heat it up for you on the evening of your arrival.

Bring your dog
Most lodges allow a maximum of one dog for €25 per stay. Make sure you add the Pet Fee when making your booking, so we can ensure you are assigned to a dog-friendly cabin.

Yoga classes at Basecamp IJmuiden

Looking to find your zen during your stay? At Basecamp IJmuiden, we offer yoga classes on request.

If you're interested in joining a session, simply contact our reception team. They will get in touch with our yoga teacher Geertje and come back to you with the available options.

You are also very welcome to join if you are not staying at Basecamp.

If the weather allows, we will find a beautiful spot outside where you can enjoy your practice surrounded by nature. If not, we will make sure there is a comfortable indoor space where you can roll out your mat and relax.

Bike rental

Get the real Amsterdam experience and explore the city by bike! The city center starts at the west side of Amsterdam, about 20 minutes by bike from Basecamp. From there you can cycle at your leisure towards highlights such as Vondelpark, Museumplein, Dam Square and don't forget to stop at the many nice cafes and boutique shops along the way.

At Basecamp Amsterdam it is possible to rent bikes. Ask our Front Desk for more information.
