WHAT TO EXPECT?
This is your opportunity to visit Tanzania during a perfectly organized field trip. Our team will join you, to personally show you the resort, and the highlights of Tanzania.
Risk: you might fall in love with the place, the weather, the friendly culture and majestic natural beauty. We do not provide services to call your family you’re not coming home.
We offer two field trip options. A short trip option (five days), or an extended trip (7 days) More details in the schedule below, and a brief summary of our itinerary.
PROGRAM SUMARY
A direct flight will bring us to Dar es Salaam Airport, from where we travel 1,5h by car to the new Basecamp Tanzania resort. Here we will spend two nights, to experience a full day on site. On the morning of the third day, we will go to Dar Es Salaam city, to experience the local liveliness, enjoy the great cuisine, and meet with our lawyers for a Q&A. After spending the night in a nice seaside city hotel, you have the option to travel back to Amsterdam (short field trip) or to join us for two more days (extended field trip). We strongly recommend the latter, as this will give you the opportunity to see what Tanzania is famous for: a private plane will take us in 1 hour to Mikumi National Park, where we will experience a true safari adventure.
You will be among the first happy few to explore the new resort and be able to hand-pick your holiday home. Let me summarize the trip:
- A tour over the new resort, where your future holiday house is located – sleeping there for 2 nights to feel at home directly.
- An exciting beach walk, learning about the turtle preservation program and enjoying a fresh and fragrant African BBQ, overlooking the Indian Ocean.
- A meeting with our local lawyers, to ask any questions you might have
- A guided city tour to discover the hot spots of buzzling Dar es Salaam, including a night’s stay to get to know and fall in love with this city as we did.
Optional: 2 extra days at Mikumi national park, experiencing a real safari, a night game drive, spotting the wildlife and hiking to a nearby waterfall.
